Reetesh Kumar Singh

Prof. R. K. Singh is a distinguished academic and thought leader who has served as the Head and Dean of the Faculty of Commerce and Business, Delhi School of Economics—one of the most prestigious institutions under the University of Delhi. A seasoned scholar in Organisational Behaviour and Human Resource Development, Dr. Singh has consistently aligned theory with practice, championing processual and structural reforms during his leadership tenure. These reforms, grounded in scholarly insight, have significantly enhanced institutional effectiveness and stakeholder satisfaction.

With a research orientation focused on organizational effectiveness, learning systems, and spirituality at work, Dr. Singh has published extensively in reputed international journals from publishers such as Wiley, Routledge, Taylor & Francis, Springer, and Emerald. His contributions span quantitative and qualitative paradigms, addressing contemporary challenges in human resource management and leadership through a unique lens rooted in modern and Indic epistemologies.

He has served as the Editor of Business Analyst. He continues to be on the editorial and reviewers’ boards of leading international journals, including the Journal of Spirituality, Management and Religion, Journal of Business Ethics, Journal of Religion and Health, International Journal of Organizational Analysis, Journal of Organizational Effectiveness, Management Decision, Journal of Organizational Change Management, Quality Assurance in Education, Journal of Applied Research in Higher Education, and On the Horizon, among others.

Dr. Singh has over three decades of multifaceted experience in academia, executive education, and institutional consultancy. His academic governance roles have included serving as Chairman of Governing Bodies of colleges and as a member of Academic Councils at the University of Delhi, Mahatma Gandhi Antarrashtriya Hindi Vishwavidyalaya (Maharashtra), Manav Rachna International University (Haryana), Lucknow University (U.P.), and Madhav Institute of Technology (Gwalior). He is a former President of the All-India Commerce Association (Delhi NCR Chapter) and served on the Governing Body of Narsee Monjee College of Commerce & Economics, Mumbai.

He has also contributed to curriculum design, academic audits, and institutional reviews for numerous universities, including Pondicherry University, IGNOU, Sikkim University, SRM University, GD Goenka University, SGT University, and SMV Engineering College, among others. Dr. Singh serves as an expert panelist for the University Grants Commission (UGC) under the Ministry of Education, Government of India, advising on matters of national academic importance.

As a corporate trainer, Dr. Singh has led high-impact leadership and behavioral training programs across premier Indian institutions and public sector organizations. These include Vedanta, BALCO, Forest Research Institute (FRI), DRDO, Punjab Police, Indian Institute of Public Administration (IIPA), Aricent Technologies, NHPC, SAIL, GAIL, IFFCO, JK Cement Ltd., and PUDNASS. His training interventions have been lauded for their intellectual depth, contextual relevance, and lasting impact on HR practices.
